Corrections and sourcing policy

Effective July 26, 2026.

Marketing Agent publishes operator-focused analysis for marketing leaders. Factual claims must be traceable to public sources. Numbers, quotations, comparisons, legal statements, security claims, and claims about named organizations require an original source or two independent authoritative sources.

How we handle evidence

Factual claims include links or source notes that directly support the wording. Inferences are labeled as inferences. Opinions are presented as editorial judgment, not measured fact. Private Docket systems, customer information, internal conversations, and subscriber-level data are not acceptable editorial sources.

How we handle corrections

When a material error or sourcing problem is reported, we pause distribution and review the evidence. We correct supported wording promptly and add a dated correction note when the change is material. If the integrity of a piece cannot be established quickly, we temporarily remove it from public circulation.

Legacy archive review

On July 26, 2026, we temporarily removed the legacy article archive while its claims and source records are re-verified under this policy. Articles may return after they are sourced, rewritten as clearly labeled opinion, or corrected.
